The design of our Constitution promotes states experimenting with laws to see what works best. There a plenty of states with different levels of strictness with regards to Voter ID laws. Indiana and Georgia tend to be the most strict while others are more lenient. I do not think time has properly told what works and what doesn't when it comes to Voter ID laws. Nor do I think is it a Federal issue. There are some issues that states should be allowed to have a final say on and I think this is one of them. Do we really need the Federal government policing voters ID's and making sure the law is being followed?
