Today the newest and last jobs report before the election will be released. Most people are predicting a slight increase in unemployment to 7.9% up from 7.8%. But the bigger numbers are the revised numbers from the previous two months that show that we increased new jobs by more than was initially reported.
All initial jobs reports are flawed but are revised with more accurate information a month or two later. Keep in mind the actual increases that are shown rather than the initial reported numbers. The economy is healthier than most people think because most people only look at the initial report not the revised.
