Now that the election of the century is over it is time to once again come together as we always do continue to chart a path forward for our country. We have been through some hard times these past 6 years but the end is always closer than one thinks. The economy is growing but challenges remain. If this election has shown the two parties anything it is that we are trusting them to solve the problems together, not alone and not by trying to play political games.
They have to come together, compromise and solve the problems of immigration, energy and our fiscal uncertainty. Right now that is all we ask of them to do. Yes there are small issues related to the above three such as tax reform but I propose they take baby steps and solve the different parts of each problem rather than trying to solve the whole problem in one large, overreaching law (insert The Affordable Care Act).
These problems are solvable, and we the people have spoken and elected whom we want in power to make the tough decisions, it is now time to act.
